Tasting Notes: raspberry, tangerine and english breakfast tea like body
The region of Sidamo is named for the Sidamo people. The region lies in the famous Great Rift Valley of East
Africa that runs through Ethiopia to the Mozambique. The Sidamo Zone has 19 distinct coffee producing
districts with ideal soil and climatic conditions for the production of Arabica Coffee.
Sidamo producers are known for “garden coffee” which is grown in kebeles (small villages). The coffee is
planted at low density, ranging from 1000 to 1800 trees per hectare. All of the coffee produced under this
system is agronomically organic – but most is notcertified as such. [Genuine Origin]
